| | OJSC “Abakanvagonmash” has received the certificates of ñînformity of two types of flat-cars models 13-9004 and 13-9015. The certification acknowledges the conformity of given product to the requirements, established on federal railway transport.
Owing to revival of cooperation of OJSC “Abakanvagonmash” with “Research institute of car-building” first for the time of existence of the plant the infrastructure, allowing to carry out all tests of the flat-cars on the premises of the plant was created.
The certification was preceded with hard work of the whole staff of the enterprise. One of the models of flat-cars was modernized and serial production of the second was mastered once again. The given rolling stock has load-carrying capacity 68 and 72 t and apart from transportation of containers, it can be used for transportation of wheeled equipment.
The organization of production of two types of flat-cars at once will allow to satisfy a demand of the customers for 40-ft and 60-ft flat-cars.

| | The preparation works to manufacture 10-foot containers type 1 D gross mass 24 t and 1 DD gross mass 30,48 t were carried out on JSC "Abakanvagonmash" . The container is equipped with top loading hatch and bottom folding unloading hatch. In the first place the container is intended for transportation of ferro-alloys and other bulk cargoes with high volume density. It is also possible to use the container as non-returnable tare, that particularly effective with high cost of the cargo and provision its safe and reliable transportation to ultimate consumer without reloading of the cargo.
The unloading of the container is carried out through bottom folding hatch by tilting the container. It is also possible to unload through end opening doors.
The reduction of storage operation to load and reload, refusal of additional tare, the possibility to keep the cargo in container, rapid unloading and reduction of transport delay, provision of proper safety of the cargo, including international transportation under customs supervision, availability of the containers for transportation of traditional tare and piece cargoes – that is only short list of advantages of new design.

| | In leaving 2006 a number of rather interesting projects has received a development, in which JSC “Abakanvagonmash” has taken the direct participation. Due to available on the enterprise design-technological base, a variety of containers of special purpose was developed and mastered:
- containers for mobile power stations (diesel, petrol power stations)
- containers for transformer substations
- containers for stations of mobile communication
- containers for pump units.
The containers for transportation of non-conventional container loads such as coal, cement, wood’s sawdust are developed on JSC “Abakanvagonmash”.
At the present moment the time necessary from receipt of the order to development of a new type of the container, manufacturing of prototype samples for carrying out the full-scale tests and survey by the Russian maritime register of shipping occupies from two to three weeks depending on complexity of the project.

| | The features of tariff policy allow widely to use the containers for transportation practically of all loads. 20- ft container for transportation of bulk loads is turned to be one of the most universal designs developed on JSC “Abakanvagonmash”. The features of design allow to apply it as for transportation of bulk loads with loading through the top hatches and unloading through the folding hatch in one end wall (unloading is carried out by dumping at a raising of the container from the opposite bottom corner fittings) and traditional "dry" loads loaded and unloaded through opening doors on the second end wall of the container. It is remarkable, that, the container loaded, for instance, in one way of the route with grain, in return road can be loaded with lumbers. Thus, the risk of empty run practically is equal to zero. In this scheme the usage of containers with load capacity 30,48 t and 40- foot fittings flatcars is most urgent. Such flatcar (model 13-9015) is also mastered on JSC “Abakanvagonmash”, it has load capacity 72 t and can be used for transportation of wheel techniques.

| | The idea of transportation "of container in container " or as it is called in West "matryoshka" has continued its further development. At present JSC “Abakanvagonmash” can offer one set of three containers: 10 ft, 8 ft and 6 ft. Containers 8 ft and 6 ft having a design similar to the previous types are completed by rubber packings of doors, locking rods, may have metal or plywood floor. They find application at organisation of temporary and constant warehouses, can be installed on the automobile, transport cargoes and be lifted from fittings in loaded condition.
